Fall 2011

The leaves are falling, the color of Fall is showing everywhere...the trees, leaves, grass!!! I love it! It's beautiful, and not to mention my favorite time of year! The best part about fall is that it leads into the best three holidays of the year! The first of which is Halloween...

I know that a lot of people don't agree with celebrating this holiday, however I personally don't think there's anything wrong with letting the kids dress up and get a little candy in their systems. This year we were stuck between several costumes for our little C-man. I reallllyyyyyyyyy wanted to make his costume this year...I don't know why I just think homeade costumes are really cute. I was stuck between a frog, dog, and a bear.....it took forever and about 10 people to finally decide on a dog! The plan was to make him a brown puppy dog...but I ended up making him a dalmation due to limited craft supplies in this town! It turned out so cute! We painted his face and gave him some spots! We took him and his nephew to the pumpkin patch and took some pictures! We decided against trick or treating this year since both his dad and I are on diets and we knew he wouldn't eat all that candy himself.

Ok so besides Halloween everything has been going pretty smoothly. Brittnee's job is going well, learning new things everyday and getting to see lot's of different animals which is scary yet exciting! And Scott started a new job about a week ago! He started working at Cryovac which is a HUGE plant that quite a few people/family he knows work there so it's been pretty easy to adjust. This was a great opportunity for our family and we are all very proud of him!
Let's see what else is new with the Yorks????? (Since it's been a couple months since our last update I think it would be easier to just list them)
    * Well Connor went from walking (barely) lol to RUNNING! This kid amazes me everyday!
    * We've been taking up new projects...lol well Brittnee has anywase. She is obssessed with Pinterest! Connor's room is about to be under crafty construction so she can begin her many projects (including a wall chalkboard, and a art section JUST for all of his little crafts he makes at daycare and at home.) This has also caused a sudden wave of baking over Brittnee...she made pumplin cupcakes with a pumpking cream cheese frosting and they were a ALL over hit!!

    * WE are ALL addicted to the Sing Off...we all watch it intensly. Scott loves the old songs they sing, Brittnee loves the all acapella singing, and Connor...well he LOVES the girls group Delilah...he dances and stares at them :)
    * Brittnee and Scott both have started their getting healthy diet! We are both doing really well loosing over 20lbs each! We know that this was a change that would only happen if we did it together and supported one another and so far it's working out great!

There's probably a ton of other things I could throw in there...but I'm sure you don't want to read 45 minutes of updates on us...especially since we are pretty boring! With the holidays approaching I am hoping to have some cute pictures to upload and funny stories for ya'll. We are making our first attempt at a road trip for Thanksgiving...Connor and I will be heading to Nebraska to see some family (Scott couldn't go due to his new job :( this will be the first time we've spent apart since having Connor). It's a 12 hour drive and he HATES his carseat so I'm sure that will be a blog in itself! Anywase, here's some pictures of Halloween to leave you with!

Labor Day Weekend

Well...it's official! I celebrated my 25th birthday this weekend, I am no half way to 50! Lol makes me feel very old when I think about it like that! For my birthday I got a new camera which I put to use over the 3 day weekend since we went down to my parents house to hang out!

On our car trip down to Dallas I decided to take some pictures since I was in the backseat with my lil man and we were having fun playing with stuffed animals and musical books...lol of course he had is cranky moments and I had my crazy moments, at one point I was singing some ridiculous song with a stuffed yellow puppy dog! But anywase, here's our car trip photos!!!

So we arrive at my parents and I walk in to find this amazingly delicious, mouth watering Red Velvet cake, homeade by my wonderful mother!!! Of course I may have hinted to her that I REALLY wanted it lol!

And then Saturday it was GAME DAY!!! We were all in our Nebraska attire, even the babies!!! Landon and Connor were both ready for their first Husker game of the season! Of course their papaw wasn't there to catch them in their cute red outfits, because he was dove hunting...BUT I think he would have approved, they really did look awfully cute! Here's our cute little Husker boys getting ready to watch our team kick butt!!! GO BIG RED!!!!

Then following the game we decided to celebrate with some pool time!!! It was actually really nice outside so us girls thought we should take FULL advantage of the weather and spend some time in the pool! Austa decided to sit on the side lines and take the pictures, but good thing she did because she took some hilarious pictures of Connor and Landon! Little Landon, or not so little lol, just thought everything his big cousin did was hilarious! He just laughed and giggled watching Connor splash around like a crazy person! I seriously don't think any of us have ever seen him laugh like that before! It was super funny and for sure a memory to tell them when they get older!!! Here's a few pictures caught on camera!

Well that's a quick capture of our weekend at the rent's house! We had a good time, the boys went dove hunting and had some bonding time, and the girls got some good time in with the little boys! All in all it was a great weekend with family!

Our Saturday

I woke up to Connor crying and being just a little bit cranky, and thought to myself "ohhhh gosh, it's gonna be that kind of day,' well......luckily it turned it's course! Connor had some eggs with ketchup for breakfast, which he didn't really eat a whole lot off, which is crazy because he usually LOVES eggs!

Then we moved on to our regular weekend lazy time, Connor played in the living room with his daddy and toys, and then we snuggled a little bit (mommy is apparantly only good for snuggling, although he did play some today with me!)..
Then Connor had a snack, which was crackers and goldfish!

He didn't want his picture taken at that moment :)

Then....the smile came that melts my heart <3

Not sure what this face is....

After his snack he got to play naked for a little while and let his booty air out...this kid HATES his diapers!!! He is a huge fan of naked time!!! Then he got a bath because he was SERIOUSLY dirty, I'm talking his feet were black from daycare!!!

THEN....we got ready to go bowling!!! Scott's been dying to go for like umm...a year haha! I am not a huge fan of bowling, but it seemed like a good idea so we all showered and got ready to go!!!

When we got there I, Brittnee, started kicken butt!!! hehe....although Scott did catch up eventually...but you should have seen the look on his face when the first ball I threw was a strike..."can I say...priceless!!!" lol love it! Here's a few pictures of our fun day!

We had so much fun!!! (well Scott had fun bowling...and I had fun taking picutres with my awesome new birthday present!!!)

Hope you guys enjoyed! Love ya'll :)

Goodbye Sweet Summertime

Bye Bye Sweet Summer Time

Bye Summer Time,

So this time of year is when I'd usually be getting all my ducks in a row to start back at school, you know buying books, registering for classes, getting all my cute supplies (especially my cute planner)! It's so strange that this is the first Fall Semester that I won't be in college...you get used to something and then it's gone, it seems soo wierd to me! I actually miss school a LOT! I miss being challenged as well as writing my reports, which believe it or not I sometimes enjoyed doing! However, I am very glad to have my degree...but who knows maybe next year I'll go back and get my masters or teaching certificate!!! <Wish me luck>

There's so many things that I look forward to in the spring, one major one is SUMMER!!! This year I CANNOT wait for Summer to be over with! I am so tired of this ridiculous heat! I mean really??? 40 something days of 100 degree weather!!! It's INSANITY! I can't wait for winter time! I miss the snow, BRING BACK THE SNOW weatherman!!! (and yes I know that in a couple months I'll be saying this about summertime!)

So you guys may be wondering what's been going on with the York family over the last couple months since I haven't really had a chance to update this! Well, Brittnee started a new job working as a Receptionist at A Caring Heart Veterinary Hospital. It's been so amazing, I love the people I work with and for the first time in a while I feel like I fit in there. We even had a girls night out last Friday which was a lot of fun! I'm learning so many new things about animals and I get to see and love on the most adorable little puppies! Sometimes it can be emotional, and frustrating but there are by far more ups than downs!
Scott is still working at the school, and very anxious for the weather to hurry up and change, since the majority of his work is done outside! He has started working out again, which has got him very excited! He goes off of the couch 2 5k app on his iphone! Seems like he's really enjoying it!
Connor is still the cutest little boy ever! He loves ice cream and teddy grams! Those are seriously like his 2 favorite things to eat...oh and cheese puffs! (Yes we do feed him actual food as well)! He's growing like a weed! Everyday either Scott or I say "gosh look how big he is." He wants to walk by himself so bad! He can stand without holding on to anything, and he can walk along the couch without really holding on to it. He is just still a little to scared to do it without being close to something he can hold on to.

Here's a few things to look forward to in the next month!!!

* It's Brittnee's 25th Birthday on September 2nd!!! I have no idea what we are going to do to celebrate that!
*Connors 1st BIRTHDAY is on September 18th!!!! And we are having a huge party here at our house! It's going to be a football themed party so everyone who plans on coming better start looking for their favorite football jersey/shirt!
*Labor Day Weekend! Hoping to do something fun for this, maybe go to the lake or something!

I'm sure there's lot's more coming up in the next couple weeks but those are the main ones I can think off! I hope you enjoyed, sorry there were no photos, but they are all on my phone and I didn't have time to downlaod them to the computer, but I will try to put some new pics up of Connor in the next couple weeks!!!

Sweet Summer Time

Well so far summer time has proven to be HOT!!! Our city has been in the triple digit numbers for going on 22 days now!!! The other day it was 112 degrees outside...now thats sizzling!!! I get so worried when Scotts at work (because he spends a lot of his time outside doing work) All I can hope is that he as well as everyone working there drink plenty of water!

In other news, I had a job interview on Friday and they told me they really liked me and I was their favorite so I think I have a pretty good chance of getting it!! It's at a veternary clinic, I'd be a receptionist. It would be a great oppurtunity to gain some experience, and I love animals so it should be fun too! I'll find out for sure by Wednesday if I got it or not!!! So keep your fingers crossed for me because we could really use  a second income!
I am so thankful that my husband has a job that supports us and keeps us going, even though our finances are tight with a new car payment, he always makes me feel like we're gonna be ok. He's the best!

If your wondering what's new in Connor's world here's a few things,
Well he is growing and changing everyday! His personality is shining right now! He giggles and laughs at pretty much anything his daddy does! They play and play together like it's going out of style! Connor spends most of his time running around in just a diaper because he HATES, and I do mean hates, to be clothed! Lol, I try so hard to dress him up in cute clothes and he throws a fit! Oh well, guess he's like his daddy (Whom also likes to come home and throw his shirt off)!
AND speaking of temper tantrums...my child now has figured out that he can scream and slap his hands together and bang on things! Yes..he officially knows how to throw a tantrum and it is dring me CRAZY!!! Today he decided that he wanted to climb up onto our coffee table and try to pull a basket of things down so when mommy told him no and turned him facing the other direction he started whaling his hands around and screaming at the top of his lungs! He also did it when his daddy pulled him away from a plug outlet (don't worry they all have the little plastic covers on them) and put him in time out! He has a little attitude that kid! I think he might get it from me lol!
Other than all the basics he's just a happy and giggly little boy! He turns 10 months old tomorrow! I am going to crack down on starting to plan his 1st birthday party! I think we decided on just doing it in the backyard but depending on how the weather is I'm sort of reconsidering and thinking about maybe a resteraunt instead! I know for sure we're doing a superhero theme! I can't wait to see what other kids, and parents, wear!!! I hope everyone can have fun with us and dress up! As for now I am planning it for Sept. 17th!!

Anywase, our lives are sort of boring for now sense we have been trying to save money and just spend time at home for the last couple weeks so I'll try to update...my parents are coming up this next weekend I think so maybe we'll have some good stuff to blog about!!!

Have a blessed and great week!

4th of July Weekend and a few other things!!

Well we had a great weekend! We went down to my parents house and spent pretty much the whole weekend in the pool! Played a little volleyball and hung out with my favorite nephew (hehe and my only nephew) Landon James! Connor has a new found fascination with this little man..it was so cute he LOVED to climb on him and just lay his head down...Landon of course found it funny and we all thought it was just adorable it was like he was giving his cousin hugs!! HAHA that is until he'd try to climb on his face or bite his fingers (in my son's defense Landon did try to stick them in Connors mouth...however Connor pretty much just went after Landon's feet) haha good times, good times!

Anywase, since there was a burn band where my parents live we had to find other ways of entertainment for the 4th (which we actually celebrated on the 3rd since Scott had to be back at work on Tuesday). We decided to hit up the city show...it was actually really good! It lasted a lot longer than I had expected and the fireworks were great! I especially had a good time sitting there saying OOOH...AHHH OOO...AHHHH over and over again with my Aunt Sharon. Lol, my son on the other hand was very tired of being held so he got a LITTLE ancy after about the 2nd hour that we'd been there...thank goodness for Grandma!!! Here's some pics of our fireworks!!!

As far as other news on the York family, Brittnee is still unemployed (yet again) but it's been ok for now..I am really enjoying time with my little man. I never thought I'd be the type of person to be ok with staying home, I thought I'd go crazy...but the house has been clean, the dishes haven't gotten bad, floors stayed vacummed, it's been great! There are those days where I get soo bored and wish I had  a job, but I just have to keep the faith that something great is going to come along and bless our family.

As far as Connor goes, he is crawling and pulling himself up on everything!!! Everytime I turn my head (even if just for a second) he's gotten into something and it usually involves tearing paper up into shreds!!! It's always gotta be something that takes forever to get cleaned up lol! He's able to stand alone by himself for a brief second, which means he'll be walking in no time (or at least that's what I've been told)! He is eating pretty much all homeade baby food! I am really enjoying playing with different ingredients to make him some yummy things to eat! This morning I made hime some homeade strawberry and peaches applesauce, and he loved it!!! For lunch we both had turkey with gravy and mashed potatos...of course his was pureed! He loves anything with mashed potatos (especially sweet potatos)! It's crazy and so much fun to learn all these little details about him, it's something new every day!
Connor's also starting to look like a goofy little willis baby, sorry honey but he does! He is a skinny lengthy little man, with two bottom teeth and two top teeth! Haha yes our child has both front teeth (bottom and top)! It makes him very very HANDSOME! lol!

Here's pictures!
He woke up in a really good mood!!!
<3

Eating some of mommys turkey n taters!

making silly faces

Well that's about it for now!!! We are going to lay low for a little while so I'll try to update but not sure there will be anything too exciting in the next couple weeks to tell ya'll about!!! Have a great week!

9 month Check Up Appointment

Well yesterday was Connor's 9 month doctors appointment and it went really well!!! We learned a few valuable lessons (which we usually do at these apts)!

Lesson 1:
Connor is on his way to being amazing!! According to the doc only 50 % of 9 month olds can crawl and Connor was actually crawling at 8 months old!!! So daddy and mommy were very proud of him!!! The doc seemed even more impressed that he is pulling himself up and taking steps along the couch!!!

Lesson 2:
This lesson goes with lesson one...it's punishment! We are now supposed to start telling him no...and if he continues to do it we're supposed to put him in timeout!!! I would have never thought!!! But we are going to try to put his cute little adorable self in timeout (his crib) after only one warning!!! So far today it's worked really well!!!

Lesson 3:
Connor is pretty much off the bottle...he sometimes get's one during the day if he get's super fussy and maybe one at night..but other than that he doesn't and he really doesnt need one during those times either! Soo thats amazing in itself...and once again the doc seemed VERY impressed! Also baby food is out now! Our doc said the earlier you can get them off of it the better! He would like him to start eating anything he can swallow (he does have some teeth but not quite enough for him to chew things)....SOOO mommy spent the entire day making him homeade food (just combined lots of things and threw it in the processor and froze it!) This was actually fun for me..I enjoyed it! So for lunch today he had homeade mashed potatos with roast beef and corn!

Homeade taters, with roast beef and creamy corn

The left side is macaroni and cheese with peas and corn, and the right side is strawberry and peaches smoothie

these were just a few of my ideas!!! I can't wait to make some more!!!

There were also some things we learned about our little guy at this appointment! He weights 16.11 lbs and is 28 inches long!!! When we saw his weight we thought OMG he's under...but according to the doc at this age they measure their nutrishen on if their height is increasing which his has considerably (he was 23 in last time I believe)! We were excited to hear that...I guess we will just have a skinny lil guy on our hands :) oh well!

Sooo we learned lot's, got some good pointers and shed a few tears (he had to get 2 shots and a finger prick)! It was a good appointment!

Here's some picks of him the day after his doctor's appointment...We are having a lazy day so I let him just chill naked!

So in other news...we have had lot's happen in the York family lately...the most dramatic was that I lost my job at the church. I don't really know what I did wrong..I mean to be told that your the most dependable person they've ever had and then to be told in the same sitting that "it's just not working" is really confusing. I guess I can only believe that God had something better in store for me. I am currently looking for a new job and have one that I'm really hoping I will get!!! Soo keep praying for me!
Other than that big shocker...we have been pretty good. Just been relaxing and hanging out with family. This weekend is our nieces birthday so we are pretty excited about that. We had to say goodbye to Scott's sister last weekend, she's moving to California, so that was sad but we know that's where she wanted to go. OOH and a fun bit of information...we decided to save money we'd cut chevy (our yorkie) ourselves...

AND...............I think he turned out pretty good...we have to finish doing the top of his head but his body looks pretty darn good!!!

Lol well that's our little update for the week! I hope you enjoyed the pictures and updates about his doc apt! We love keeping everyone informed on how he's growing and all the fun little things about our life!

So last night I made chicken parmesan for dinner and I gotta tell ya it was delicious!!! I have finally got cooking chicken down to a perfection! I have always been too scared (thinking it wasn't done enough so I over cood it and then it's tough). However...not anymore because I've got it down! The last couple weeks I've been in a baking and cooking mood. I cooked over 2 dozen cookies last week so the hubs would have something to take to work, and made meals at least 3 times during the week... (we're only home for dinner and that's pretty good for us since we're a cereal and sandwhich kinda household a lot of the time)

Here's my parmesan...ooohhh provolone cheese sooooo good!!!

I'm thinking about adding a recipe portion to the blog...I'm not the most amazing cook, however I have lot's of yummy recipes that I'd like to start attempting so I thought..hey why not blog about my fascination right???

So here's to attempting to cook actual dinners more often and then sharing it with all of you guys!!!

On a different note..a couple days ago I put Connor in his bed to lay down for a nap and imagine my suprise to walk in to check on him and find him standing up hovering over his crib bar....it scared the CRAP out of me! I freaked out...I mean seriously freaked out. I knew he was beginning to pull himself up but I guess I didnt think he could do it in his crib....so needless to say his crib has been lowered so that we don't take the chance of him trying to play superman and flying over his crib!
All these little things are making me realize how big he's getting!!! In two days he'll oficially be 9 months old...which means he'll turn 1 in 3 months!!! (Also means I'll turn 25 in three months...scary that's halfway to 50) So any good ideas on what to do for a 1 year olds birthday party??? It's in September so it will still be pretty hot but I dont want to do anything like chucky cheese (too many kids and a bit expensive)...so I was thinking possibly like a bbq type thing..but I need a cute theme! I'm considering a super hero part...all the kiddos and adults can come in there super hero costumes...how cute would that be...maybe even get like a Hulk cake made (that's daddy's favorite). Ahhhh I'm sooo pumped...but not totally decided on it (I haven't even mentioned it to my hubby yet) so any other ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!

Anywase, thanks for listening!

Connor's Growing Up!!!

Soo updates on Connor and things you should know:

  • He crawls like a little champion! He's a little speed demon! He loves chasing daddy around the house..you have to watch him though because when daddy goes to water the yard I'll follow him right out the door if you let me try!!! (which I wont because theres a step there and I'm scared he'll bust his face)
  • He's a growing machine. He eats, and eats, and eats!!! All this kid does is lick his chops like he's hungry...and yet he's still soooo scrawny!!! His grams fed him string cheese and banana slices the other day, so he can pretty much eat anything now, thanks to those little teeth that keep popping up in his mouth.....
  • He has teeth!!! (had to do this one next since I led into in in number 2). He has two bottom teeth but I think he's getting another one in currently!!!
  • He LOVES, LOVES, LOVES bath time or swim time! His grams takes him swimming somtimes, and he loves swimming at his grandma n papas house in Dallas too!!! They both have little floats for him to play in, and in the bath he has his rubber duckies which he loves!!!
  • He still loves the outdoors, and gets cranky if he's kept inside...which is quite a bit now because it's soo dang hot here in Texas!
  • He STARTED DAY CARE!!! :( this one makes me excited but also very sad! He goes to my sisters daycare (Shes the assistant director) so I know he's being well taken care off...and he enjoys being there, so they all say! But I miss my little boy...
  • He can now pull himself up on things!!! This little boy started out preemie..so he was so far behind for so many months but our little fighter has stuck himself right with the gang (and somewhat ahead)! We are soo excited, we are going to baby proof the house because his daddy thinks it's only a matter of time before he starts walking!!! (which is soo scary to me...in 3 months he'll turn 1 years old, and now he's close to walking...my little boo is growing up sooo fast, I just need him to slow down a little bit)!!!
Sooo there's a few updates on our little boo, and what he enjoys doing, and how he's growing up!

Here are some pictures of the things he can do now!!!

Look Guys I can pull myself up and reach things I'm not supposed to get!!!

Look at me, I can play with big toys now :)

"And I can stand up"

I hope ya'll enjoy them!!

Scott and Brittnee

Perfect Little Family

I've been thinking for a while now, where my life could have gone...and what I would be doing now if I hadn't met Scott...

I'd imagine I'd be a nurse somewhere, working every day doing something that I absolutely did not love, with no life, no spouse, and no child. And sure I think I'd be making a lot of money, probably living in a nice apartment..or maybe owned a home somewhere in the Dallas area. I'd probably have a small group of friends that I got to hang out with quite a bit...I'd imagine that it'd be an ok life.....

And then I think about my life as it is now....and well it's pretty much perfect.
I mean sure we have some issues...we're newly married so we have a lot of struggles...learning to live with each other, financially, and how to be a good parent. BUT...I cannot imagine how empty my life would be without my two guys in it. I love my husband with every thing in me...and my son, gosh I can't even put it into words the amount of joy and love that I have for that little boy. He makes me smile at least 50 times a day. When I wake him up in the morning and he's curled into his little ball position in the very corner of his crib my heart explodes with happiness. I am so glad that I chose to be this person instead of the person that other people may have wanted me to be. I know that the family that i have now is so special and irreplaceable that I can truly say I am so happy with where life has taken me. I know that we will never be able to have a lot of luxuries..and to some people they don't understand how someone could be ok with living a life without a lot of money, but when you have something so spectacular to look forward to every day..it begins to be really easy to understand it.

I love my husband, and we have a beautiful baby boy that is growing and changing every day. I dropped him off at his 2nd day of daycare this morning and I just kind of stared at him...thinking how great is my life! I know this may have seemed random...but sometimes you just get taken back in life by something so little that makes the big picture seem so wonderful. I think this was one of those times.

I know I've been sappy and silly and maybe this will be the one post that everyone skips over and doesn't read but I felt like sharing my joy with family and maybe the few friends that read our blog.

To my husband and son...I love you both so much!

Love,
Brittnee

Our Weekend

Well, our weekend got off to a slow start...we attempted to have a garage sale Saturday...key word there is attempted!!! We had about a total of 4 people come by and buy..we got lucky however because the few people we did have they bought large amounts of things or some of our larger items so we profited pretty good! Today we decided to put it back up but we did it the lazy way...
Haha, we are sitting in the house with our big front window open and our front door open so we can monitor from the air conditioning! This worked out really well especially with Connor! It's too hot for his little self!!!

We also got our house cleaned! And by cleaned I mean dusted, vacummed, swept, mopped!!! And laundry is getting done tonight!!! That's pretty exciting!!! Nothing ever get's done around here...Especially now that I work full time. I feel like I come home make dinner, hand out with Connor and Scott then the baby goes to bed and we do about n hr later! Yup...that's my life! Sad and boring I know...but I love it!

We got some videos for ya'll!!!! Here ya go!

Connor Crawling...Kiddo get's around FAST now!

Terrified!!!

So on this whim of an idea yesterday I decided that if I didn't make a hair apointment to chop my hair off that I would chicken out and not do it! Sooo.....I called, well I should have known that it may not be a good idea when they told me my lady wasn't going to be working after 4pm...but stupidly I went ahead and scheduled one with a different lady...

FIRST OF ALL...who the heck cuts almost 7 inches off with a NEW lady!!! What was I thinking it could have gone sooo terribly wrong!!! She washed it first and, ya know I think they do this so your relaxed and not awake enough to tell them they did a horrible job!!! haha but anywase, so she starts cutting it off and I soon realize that she has made it about 2 inches shorter than I wanted it..which is crazy because I even showed her a picture and we discusses...exact words " So you want it to be a little above the shoulder" YES that's exactly what I wanted!!!!
hmmmmmmmm.........well not exactly the length I wanted but it's too LATE now! So then she cuts it all one length (the picture clearly had layers) and I start BAWLING like a baby!! I looked like a twelve year old with a bad chili bowl hair cut... I've never had the guts to say anything to my hair stylists in the past because well they just were never this bad I guess....But after I calmed myself down I told her what I thought I looked like and showed her the picture again...She said " Oh...gosh....I can fix this" Then she resorts to layering the crap out of my hair so that I don't look like a 12 year old boy with a chili bowl hair cut from the 90s.

FINALLY...she's done and she spins me around with a very nervous look on her face and says " I think your gonna like this...it's much more mature looking." I looked...AND I did finally like it! It was exactly the cut I wanted (minus being a little shorter thatn what I wanted)! Great cut...had some drama but hey it was memorable!!!

HAHA Funny story...thought that I should share!!! She was actually very nice and wasn't going to let me leave her chair until it was what I wanted it to be! Good conversation and great hair wash! I'd go back lol!

Here's the pictures...sorry they are the same as FB but I haven't had time to take better ones.

I like to call it a mommy look...it's mommy easy (meaning I don't have a lot of time usually to fix it and this took about 10 min all together) and my son can't yank it out of my head anymore which is a HUGE bonus!!!

Anywase, hope you guys have a great day! We are getting the rest of our family pics today so I'll upload them soon!!!

Boo to Hackers!!!

Well...someone hacked into our account so I had to delete our entire blog and start a new one! Ugg this week has been a whirlwind with this dang thing! First I had to make a new web address because our's stopped working and then this...the person who hacked into it put all sorts of vulgar things on our posts..it was desturbing.

So anywase, hopefull this time around we won't have to deal with any of that! Luckily I had enough down time to make a whole new one..only sad thing is that the old posts and pictures are all gone :(

In recent news, Scott's job may possibly be going down to M-Thrus working longer hours but they'd be off on Fridays!!! That's so exciting I hope it happens because that would mean less daycare!!! Also some big news...I'm chopping my hair off todat at 5! I'll make sure to post pictures so you can see the end result. My lady wasn't there today after 4 so let's hope this new lady can fill her shoes or I might be one sad person with a bad hair do! hehe!

I had written this long funny post about memorial day that I don't think everyone had seen yet with a video of Connor crawling..but it's gone! i'm going to try to take a better video of him tonight...and also upload some pictures of him swimming so I can update the new blog with cuteness!!!!

Anywase, that's all for now!
